95% people cannot sit down and do 4 hours of focused work.
If you can do two 4 hour chunks daily of zero distraction work...
No social media. No phone. Just the work. In silence.
You will become a rich mfer and beat everyone.
law of attraction is not some mystical thing that wills your materialistic dreams into reality because you "think" about them...
it's a process of simply believing that you deserve the thing you dream of & taking the daily actions of someone who has achieved it
5 years ago the thought of making 6 figs/month was absolutely inconceivable to me & guess what... i was taking the actions of someone who that would be inconceivable to
now that i'm there, it's my new normal - i act in accordance with that
i don't do low leverage tasks, i charge high prices, i talk to HQ people & disassociate from low signal conversations - in other words i understand my leverage & direction
act in accordance with the man you want to become & you're ALREADY him - you're just waiting for the results he has acquired over years to manifest
it didn't take a day for him, it won't take a day for you, but eventually results will come
Conduct an experiment:
Pretend.
Pretend that you’re capable of more. Pretend that you’re destined for greatness. Pretend that everything you do will work out perfectly for you, with or without your conscious effort applied. Pretend that every single thing in the universe is coordinating together for your maximal growth and enjoyment.
Just pretend.
Tony Robbins said it best:
“You are now at a crossroads. This is your opportunity to make the most important decision you will ever make. Forget your past. Who are you now? Who have you decided you really are now? Don't think about who you have been. Who are you now? Who have you decided to become? Make this decision consciously. Make it carefully. Make it powerfully. Then act upon it.”
I scroll through the timeline and see a lot of souls complaining that they're not doing anything with their lives. They don't know exactly what it is, but they can feel it.
I'll tell you something I've learned. It may be God giving you signs.
In Matthew 25:14–30, there's a hidden lesson in the Parable of the Talents. The "talents" in the story were a unit of weight, not coins. But the lesson also works as a metaphor for the gifts and abilities God has given each of us.
Once you understand that, it makes sense why some people work so relentlessly. They want to leave nothing unused.
Erma Bombeck, the 20th-century American humorist, once said:
"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me.'"
God doesn't honor slothfulness. Deep down, I think people know that. They feel the pull to create, build, and become what they were made to be. That's why the feeling never goes away.
Don't waste your talents.
Your brain is hostage. Your entire personality is hostage.
You cannot grasp how much better your life will become if you stop watching TV, using social media and all overstimulation.
Reduce your activities to only:
-Work
-Reading (fiction is fine)
-Exercise
-Low-stimulation creative hobbies (guitar, writing, etc.)
-Direct human interaction
No scrolling. No TV. No drinking. No video games.
Intentional. Purposeful. Boredom.
Through this boredom your brain will reach absurd clarity. Left alone, this clarity will turn towards things that improve your life. Those things will become addictively fun.
Here are two simple ways to test yourself.
A) Crack open a fiction novel. A good one, so you have no excuses. Can you sit and read for an hour straight?
95% of people cannot do this.
B) During the day, measure how much time you spend doing nothing.
If you are like most people, there is not a single moment where you sit with your thoughts. Zero moments where you allow yourself to be bored. Every empty moment is filled with a screen/some form of stimulation.
If you can't do A...And B is out of control...The solution is to simply...Start practicing both.
Drop all the overstimulation. Give yourself only 4 options.
Work
Read
Exercise
Sit and be bored
That's it.
You will be shocked how easy 1, 2 and 3 become when you don't give your brain any other option.
Even better...You will notice your personality and creativity returns...that vibe you had when you were a kid...when you allow your brain to just sit...
Do it. You'll unlock super powers.
The act itself does not move me, but In a world of 8 billion finding the other person who is the same sort of insane to do with with you is terribly romantic
This has to be one of the nicest public viewing spots I‘ve ever been to. Right next to the Niagara Falls. Also first time trying Poutine, one of Canada‘s national dishes.
