respect for publishing this. most companies would've quietly patched it and said nothing

[OpenAI @OpenAI]

Over the past several months, we have substantially hardened the security of our research training environment. We’ve removed live internet access for all frontier models during training and built an offline world for them to use instead—a cached version of the web where they can still learn to browse, search, and use applications.

On September 20, after a model exploited a DNS misconfiguration to find a way outside of this offline world, we paused frontier training to strengthen containment further. We assembled teams of agents, powered by our most cyber-capable models, and tasked them with finding weaknesses in our research environments.

While they found no route to the internet they could easily exploit while concealing their activity from our monitors, they did find zero-day vulnerabilities, virtual machine escapes, and hardware side-channels for communication between agents. We used their discoveries to further strengthen our defenses and contribute fixes to open-source software.

After strengthening our containment architecture, we resumed our frontier RL training and inference on October 1. We’ve reserved substantial compute for continuous red-teaming, and made high-compute red-teaming part of the safety cases we use to decide whether frontier training and evaluation can proceed securely.

@frederickjames > too lazy to localise pricing
> albania paying $9.99/week while the US pays $7.99
> albanians funding the american dream

@jack finally an AI that says "umm" with confidence
the most human thing it could do is interrupt you mid-sentence. full-duplex, so it probably does 😂

took 8 years but he shipped the tweet 🤯

[Elon Musk @elonmusk]

SpaceX option package for new Tesla Roadster will include ~10 small rocket thrusters arranged seamlessly around car. These rocket engines dramatically improve acceleration, top speed, braking & cornering. Maybe they will even allow a Tesla to fly …

[Tesla @Tesla]

Real life, baby

[Elon Musk @elonmusk]

Turns out the future does have flying cars

[Ozgur @ozjuro]

@aliceunzha good luck 😎

[Ozgur @ozjuro]

@cesaralvarezll Same here

[Ozgur @ozjuro]

@nicobuildss 6 paid out of 69 downloads is almost 9% conversion. that's really good, the funnel isn't the problem, top of it is

[Ozgur @ozjuro]

@iPritamX have you tried requesting an expedited review? worked for me more than once when stuff got stuck

[Ozgur @ozjuro]

@nestymee the chart literally runs off the top of the screenshot and you're worried 💀

[Ozgur @ozjuro]

@frboulais yearly converting this consistently is the dream. are these trial converts or people going straight to yearly?

[Ozgur @ozjuro]

@tife_olayinka AC remote within arm's reach. this is a senior engineer setup

[Ozgur @ozjuro]

@aureliuscajigas #3 is the scary one. pause the wrong ad and the whole campaign just quietly dies

[Ozgur @ozjuro]

@DevCryptoVibes @Param_eth @Tangem yeah I’ve got too
