@reagansmash@ethanmwolf What’s the common denominator? Every place we are under preforming it has or had a candidate that was further left than the norm.
@phil_from_DE@NicholasWFL@ChiefTeef8@TenPointPG Can we get an example of a DSA candidate who has preformed well in a general of a swing state? From my knowledge they only infect +20 to +40 point dem stronghold elections in the primary and then proceed to obviously win in the general
@SuperSmashjo@PalmerSethu@PpollingNumbers 1. I’m more sympathetic for the Palestinians why would anyone be more sympathetic for the Israel’s.
2. I agree with you candidates should not be accepting AIPAC funding it’s not popular at this time that’s different than supporting defensive weapons for Isreal
@SuperSmashjo@PalmerSethu@PpollingNumbers I’m sorry reality is people don’t seem to care all that much about that issue. Polling doesn’t show it there is no metric. Some districts like to see change and want an outsider that doesn’t mean that Israel is this extremely important issue
@SuperSmashjo@PalmerSethu@PpollingNumbers Let’s say one of the really liked Dogs and the other really liked cats does that mean we should be focusing on that issue over way more important political issues?
@SuperSmashjo@PalmerSethu@PpollingNumbers Yup it happens sometimes moderate candidates get beaten but obsessing about Israel like the lefty types do is just so ridiculous. There are so many issues to latch on too idk why that’s your ride or die. Also “Yes he turned out to be a rapist” is taking me out 😭
