@f25f51f@PolymarketDevs Will this maintenance also have that objective @kakujain ? Operating as a taker is proving quite complicated due to the high latencies.
Earn money on Polymarket's "Maker Rebates Program"
15-minute crypto markets now charge a fee, but it doesn't go directly into Polymarket's pockets
Fees are redistributed to market makers who provide active liquidity
And you got it right - anyone can be a market maker
That's what you should know before you become one:
1. Takers pay up to 3% fee
This number is dynamic: the highest fees are at 50% probability; fees decrease toward the extremes (0% and 100%)
2. Makers don't pay fees, but get Rebates rewards
To qualify for maker rewards just place orders that add liquidity to the book and get filled (i.e., your liquidity is taken by another trader, not the other way around)
3. Reward pool seems to be huge
Average 15-minute BTC market volume reaches $50k
If so, even 1% fee gives $500 in rewards every 15 minutes
In reality, the value may be even greater
So what's the most efficient way to participate in Maker Rebates Program?
I've created a guide based on a delta-neutral strategy:
1. Enter the 15-minute BTC market: https://t.co/B4yPV1ZgSk
2. Open mirror YES and NO positions
The sum of the YES and NO positions must be ≤1
For example: YES at 50% + NO at 50%; YES at 49% + NO at 49%
It's important to note that the lower the %, the higher the risk that one of your orders won't fill
For the safest way to earn liquidity rewards, I recommend using 50% + 50%
3. Polymarket will send you rewards within 24 hours
You don't depend on the outcomes, all you're interested in - providing liquidity to the market
///
Of course, you can modify this strategy
It can be combined with spread profits if you're willing to take on more risk
Furthermore, I'm personally testing this approach and will try to find the optimal and most reliable strategy

MY POLYMARKET TOOL KIT
I have compiled a list of ecosystem products that I personally use to analyze bets
Such products serve solely as auxiliary tools
1) @PolyCopyMarket - helps to monitor various traders' accounts. It also helps with notifications. Personally, I set up notifications for my personal account and several others (I set it up for my own account to monitor when my limit orders are executed)
I am personally responsible for this product because I am its developer!
2) @fireplacegg - one of the top trading terminals for Polymarket. I participated in the closed beta test, and since then, a huge number of innovations have been introduced. You can not only trade, but also see all the news related to your bet, as well as traders and their PnL, who earned the most, and complete trader statistics.
Currently accessible via code - WU657E
3) @PolySpybot is a Telegram bot that alerts you to new markets on Polymarket. It is a very convenient bot that allows you to configure any categories. Personally, I have the "Crypto" category set up.
4) @PolyScalping - I also use this tool to find spreads in more for less safe markets. You can also calculate your profit using the calculator, which is very convenient as you can immediately see how much you will earn if you sell your bet at, for example, +10%.
5) @Polysights - one of the best products for analyzing traders and finding "insiders." I use it to find strange purchases of bets from newly registered wallets. You can set up filters to search for traders yourself.
6) @poly_data - a top analytical platform for the polymer market. Complete analysis of wallets and various markets. You can find the bid you are interested in and view its volumes, OI, and who is buying/selling it, as well as who has earned how much on this bid. You can also view trader profiles, their win rates, wins, and losses.
Don't think that when I find a bet that interests me, I immediately use each of these projects. No.
When I need to find out some statistics, I use analytical platforms.
When I want to find unusual purchases by new traders, I use Polysights.
You understand why they should be used.
I actually use these projects; they help to analyze the rate and the market as a whole to varying degrees.
