Why Zano?

Zano has a real historical link to Monero : its lead developer, Andrey Sabelnikov, wrote the original CryptoNote reference implementation, the technology lineage Monero later built on.

The difference is that Monero focuses on private XMR, while Zano extends that idea to Confidential Assets real private tokens with their own asset IDs.
