The #albuterol shortage is real, and not exactly obvious to patients why that's the case. Presently throughout the US certain critically important generic drugs are scarce. I tried to fill an albuterol rx yesterday and was initially told it would be 12 days to be available.
@MacKayJimeson, #PatientAccess & Affordability Project:
"Drug shortages can be a matter of life & death. As the father of a child with asthma, few things are more frightening than a potential shortage of critical generic medications like albuterol."

1/3 - I worry about how we have branded our field of #palliativecare -It is an expectation many hospital leaders have that we save money & cut costs. This is unattainable for programs that care for underrepresented and marginalized groups. #hapc#pedpc

@shawnaldridge While I'll never get over his too-young and brutal death and my inability to cope at the time, I am glad you came out and that I got to know you then, and that we've stayed in touch over the years. Joe was such an amazing, inimitable, beautiful person.
I love my university, the hospitals and health providers within @JeffersonUniv and @TJUHospital. Yet I seek the day when we change our name as a result of understanding that Jefferson doesn't align with our values and our purpose. It is off-brand.
Illustrative example 1: Bing improves its writing by just being told to read Vonnegut's advice on writing (and offers a surprisingly "personal" take on how it applied those tips) https://t.co/KbyZRTwutv
