A closeup of Ganymede 📸
5 years ago today, NASA's Juno spacecraft flew within 645 miles of Jupiter's moon Ganymede. This flyby was the closest we had gotten to the largest moon in our solar system since a flyby by the Galileo spacecraft in 2000.
As @UnionPacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 heads east to Philadelphia, safety is top priority. Ed Dickens, the railroad’s senior manager of heritage operations, offers guidance on how both you and others around you can safely experience this historic event.
NEW UPDATE: The Federal Aviation Administration has approved Boeing to proceed with TIA Phase 4B certification testing for the 777X, unlocking the largest remaining portion of flight test work needed for type certification.
According to Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO Stephanie Pope, the authorization enables expanded testing in avionics, stability and control, and human factors—key final areas before certification.
Pope noted this is the last major TIA phase, though not yet complete, with the FAA still requiring extensive additional test points before type certification is issued.
The 777-9 campaign, now years behind schedule, has been slowed by multiple technical issues and heightened FAA scrutiny following the 737 MAX crisis, with certification now targeted for next year at the earliest.
Utah: The Tower Fire south of Scipio, Utah is starting to stand up. Resources are on scene working to build containment, and additional resources are en route.
The fire was last updated at 40 acres, but is much larger than that now. There are Red Flag conditions over the fire area, with temps in the mid 80s. The Great Basin is heating up.
Thanks to Israel Barlow for sharing this view of the fire.
When I am a customer, I always feel bad raising concerns when a product arrives damaged...
As a small business owner, I HATE the idea of someone getting a damaged print and not telling me.
Please tell me, for these reasons:
1) Any damaged print will be promptly replaced
2) It's important for me to understand why things get damaged, so I can prevent it in the future.
3) My work is meant to inspire you daily, not make you sad that its ripped/wet/broken/run over by a mail truck

Washington taxpayers are paying billions for a ghost train.
In 2016, voters approved Sound Transit 3 with the promise of reduced congestion and responsible growth. A decade later, the system is fundamentally broken, and the numbers are an insult to every hardworking resident who trusted the agency.
Here is the reality of the 2026 revised plan:
>The original 2016 promised cost was $53.8 billion.
>The current 2026 estimated cost is $195.4 billion.
>The revised plan carries a massive $34.5 billion funding gap.
>The South Kirkland-to-Issaquah project is delayed until 2050.
>Ballard residents lost their final rail stretch entirely, stopping miles short at Seattle Center.
Who is responsible? An unelected board. In a glaring display of cronyism, the board just selected former King County Executive Dow Constantine as CEO, a decision made by several members he originally appointed.
Taxpayers are footing higher sales and property taxes for stations that have simply disappeared from the map. It is time for directly elected board members and true accountability.
🚨WHAT THE HELL?!!!
A White 20-year-old McDonalds manager, Jacob Smith, is currently in the ICU because a Black co-worker THREW HOT OIL ON HIM!!!
Over 22% of his ENTIRE BODY is covered in 2ND DEGREE BURNS.
Police say the attacker is, "at risk due to a diagnosis and vulnerability"
The Black co-worker allegedly tossed the oil on Jacob as Jacob was counting the money at the end of the day, and then fled the restaurant before police arrived.
From his hospital bed, Jacob looked at his mother and asked her: "Why would he do this to me?"
The police say they have "no motive at all" for the attack...
Please pray for Jacob Smith, he's in such agony doctors can't treat his pain outside the ICU. He is facing surgery and skin grafts on his neck and back.
Absolutely horrific... you won't hear this story in the mainstream media!!!
PRAY FOR JACOB!!!!!

Scouting helped prepare me for life. I was honored to share my experiences at the National Eagle Scout luncheon alongside combat veteran Major Mike Perkins — a highly decorated Special Forces Green Beret, paratrooper, and fellow Eagle Scout. His story was truly inspiring!
