Today, we are glad to share some updates about our library!
My Library
We keep on updating My Library section, and now we are glad to share, that every book you uploaded is now automatically saved to “My Library”, so you no longer have to hunt through your history to view your books.
A new My Uploads filter lets you instantly see all the books you have contributed to the library. It is especially handy if you upload study materials, niche research, or personal collections and want to quickly share or re‑download them later.
Note that this feature applies only to newly uploaded books. Your previously uploaded books remain accessible in The Menu - My Uploads.
Interests
On your profile page, there was a section where you could share your personal interests, adding a personal touch to your profile.
We've revamped this section, now allowing up to 20 interests. Remember, these interests are clickable, helping you connect with like-minded users who share your passions.
Mirror sites
Mirror sites remain one of the most powerful features of the Z‑Library ecosystem, and they now support branding customization and optional login‑only access. In practice, this means you can run your “own” version of the library at a separate domain, with your visuals and your access rules. For more information, visit our Mirror setup page.
This feature could be useful for many, for example a group of students who want a shared internal library for their faculty or study group. They can register an inexpensive domain, connect it as a mirror, restrict access via login, and instantly get a curated, semi‑private space that is much less visible—and therefore less likely to be blocked—than a public link shared everywhere.
Another scenario is launching a public‑facing library under your own brand. A small publisher, educational project, or reading community can point a domain to a mirror, customize the look, and position it as their official digital library.
In addition, we'd like to highlight a few minor updates to our website. Regarding "Booklists", we've received feedback asking for sorting improvements. To make it more convenient for you, when you want to add any book to your booklist, we've now updated the sorting in the dropdown menu, so that the newest booklists now appear at the top.
We've added a vital new feature to our menu. As you may remember, we've often discussed the Z-Access section, which holds all the key links to our website. Now, we've incorporated this information directly into the Menu, featuring active Z-Library domains along with a file containing all the essential links. We believe this offline file will be particularly useful for those who want to ensure uninterrupted access.
Another update concerns our FTP and Book Upload feature. To optimize storage, we've devised a system that benefits everyone. Now, unpublished files older than 30 days will automatically be deleted after upload. Have you published your FTP collection yet? Don't wait!
Lastly, we've enhanced the Telegram bot, an important way for many users to connect with the library. For all books you receive in your search requests, we've added the year of publication. We hope this update will help you find books more quickly!
