Year 1 were lucky enough to be visited by the @FireStopsley. They were able to demonstrate our learning from our history topic ‘The Great Fire of London’. The fire service safely put out the fire and we discussed the similarities and differences between fire safety then and now

Tulip Class were rock detectives in the Happiness Garden today for our Science unit on materials. We found lots of different rocks that were smooth, rough, heavy and shiny!

This week, Tulip Class were exploring how the tongue helps humans to taste by trying a range of foods. We used our key vocabulary to describe the taste – sweet, salty, sour, bitter and savoury.
