@WildStirFry Can barely see your tags of me amid the notifications on here these days, but yes, very much the same vibes! 🤣 Or a reversal of them. Steps and Vengaboys, as I recall. 😂
@Horse_Jeans Thought as much! I should have phrased mine better as it was a general response and not aimed specifically at you, but I did see a lot of that from people yesterday (as you obviously did too). It’s very annoying.
@Horse_Jeans I agree with the point hugely but also don’t know why it can’t just be nice, rather than “it’s nice but I perceive the creator to have an inadequacy which I must mention”. Presumably anyone who recognises most of these albums is nerdy.
@listenupnerds There is nothing to diss here, despite the number of people seemingly queueing up to do so. We could do with less knocking of anyone wearing a fun passion on their sleeve.
@WildStirFry@JagjitTakhar Haha, at least I had figured out they were for 2020 by the time I bought them. Never would have imagined it would actually take place in 2022 though! 😂
@nobellsblog Artists engaging with reviews like that is crazy to me, and I say that as a big fan of the artist in question in this case up to now. I just don’t know why they’d bother doing it or want to. Write-up was great too.
@kingwow Not sure any hip hop album of the last ten years has blown me away like “Culture” did. I could barely listen to anything other than Migos for months and everything they did 2016-2017 was appointment listening. Great times, but sad that Takeoff is gone too soon. 🥲
@AndrewSnarks @PatrickEireWres Unfortunately I have to agree. I was excited when he was announced but it’s been pretty flat, and definitely not helped by Riccaboni then being a revelation with bags of energy and an instant and much easier chemistry with Nigel.
