Our recently published paper, co-authored with Ashley Griffin, Muge Komurcu @mugekomurcu , and Matthew Huber, was selected by the GRL editorial board for featuring on AGU's social media platforms.

Climate simulations of the early-to-mid Miocene underestimate warmth in high-altitude regions.🌐
A new #AGUPubs study investigates the potential role of clouds and whether better representation of their phases could improve simulations.

Looking for Friday #AGU23 presentations? Come check presentations on paleoclimate of Monsoon Asia and the Indo-Pacific! Thrilled to be convening with @AnnabelWlf@TigerBenjamin and others. Also we're looking for additional OSPA judges so please sign up! @AGU_PaleoECRs
📢We are hiring! Passionate about tropical hydroclimate & its impacts on extratropical regions? Join us at the Paleo R&D Lab (Paleoclimate Reconstructions and Dynamics)@MasonAOES, for exciting opportunities as a Postdoc or PhD student! Pls spread the word & email me for more info
Check out our new paper (w/ @climatedynamics @theFosterlab @AndrewDessler@ChemClimatology) in @NatureComms! We present persistent high latitude amplification of the Pacific Ocean over the past 10 million years.
https://t.co/9nM4021BrZ
The high-latitude amplification factor was estimated to be 3.39 ± 0.84 in the Northern Hemisphere ice-free world (10–2.8 Ma) and larger than that of the entire 10 Myr (2.42 ± 0.64). This precludes the ice-albedo feedback as the primary driver of the high latitude amplification.
Our new paper on paleo CO2 is now out!

We compile and reevaluate boron isotope & alkenone data, finding a striking correspondence between atmospheric CO2 & global climate for the past 66 million years (THREAD)
Me: Do you want to make 2021 the year you learn how to use Python with your paleo data?
Everyone + Me: (resoundingly) YES, OF COURSE WE DO!
Me: Sign up for this workshop led by a few good people
