Targeting Iran’s civilian infrastructure is a grave strategic error. Obliterating power plants will not degrade the IRGC’s military capabilities or liberate the Iranian people; it will only punish the millions who have bravely stood as your greatest allies on the ground. I ask President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu to continue targeting the regime and its apparatus of repression, while sparing the civilian infrastructure Iranians will need to rebuild our country.

Interesting to see Trita Parsi @tparsi of NIAC @NIACouncil post this video of a deliberate foreign influence and sabotage effort targeting the Crown Prince of Iran, @PahlaviReza under the guise of a “joke”. Notice the anti-Jewish and pro-Nazi undertones in this so called “prank”.

This is basically Russian and IRGC propaganda.

Trita Parsi and NIAC have previously been accused of serving as a lobbying arm for the Ayatollah and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In 2020, Senators @tedcruz, @SenTomCotton, and then Senator @GovBraun Mike Braun, who is the current Governor of Indiana, called on the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) to investigate the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), a lobby group they believe acts as a "foreign agent of the Islamic Republic." @PamBondi

It’s time for the DOJ to revise @AGPamBondi’s February 2025 memo that took away DOJ funding for FARA enforcement.

Trita Parsi should be investigated by the FBI and DOJ, and so should NIAC and @QuincyInst.

This is a matter of US National security.

This video is from 2018. The speaker? Iran’s supposedly “moderate” and “reformist” president, Hassan Rouhani, openly praising the massacres carried out by the IRGC in Syria and boasting about supporting Hezbollah across the Mediterranean.

If this is the best the regime ecosystem can produce, the man once marketed in the West as a reasonable partner, even a “buddy” of Obama - then the fantasy that a genuine reformist will magically emerge from within the same ecosystem to lead a post-Velayat-e Faqih Iran is simply laughable.

You cannot expect a fundamentally different outcome from the same fanatical ideological machinery.
