A decisive step towards securing India’s digital future is underway. Today, on World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, SRM University-AP, Amaravati, announces the establishment of a 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗱 in collaboration with 𝗖-𝗗𝗢𝗧 (@CDOT_India) and 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆—an initiative set to redefine cybersecurity, communication infrastructure, and technological resilience in the quantum era.

Guided by the visionary leadership of 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗡. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘂 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗱𝘂 (@ncbn), Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and supported by 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗸𝗲𝘀𝗵 (@naralokesh), Hon’ble Minister for Human Resources Development, Information Technology and Electronics, the initiative aligns with India’s 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, strengthening the nation’s preparedness against emerging threats posed by quantum computing and AI.

Prof. Ch. Satish Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of SRM University-AP, Amaravati, emphasised that the university is actively shaping India’s quantum capabilities, while Dr Raj Kumar Upadhyay (@rkupadhyay), CEO, C-DOT, highlighted the importance of indigenous innovation in building secure digital ecosystems. Mr C V Sridhar (@sridharcv), Mission Director, Andhra Pradesh State Quantum Mission - Amaravati Quantum Valley, noted that the collaboration reflects a powerful ecosystem-driven approach to position India as a global leader in quantum technologies.

With cutting-edge research in Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), and next-generation telecom systems, this Test Bed will serve as a high-impact platform for innovation and collaboration. The initiative further cements Andhra Pradesh’s growing stature as a hub for frontier technologies and future-ready research.
