The liberation of Berlin from the Nazi hordes by soviet partisans is akin to the inevitable liberation of Jaffa from Zionist-Fascists by the Palestinian Resistance.
There is a clear position to be found on the situation in Spain — and the phenomenon of periphery-to-core migration more broadly. It is neither the right’s “migrant invasion” discourse nor the bleeding-heart liberals’ insistence on “unlimited open borders”; they both misidentify the culprit and obscure the solution.
Migration does not occur in a vacuum. It is driven, first of all, by the various instruments and by-products of imperialist exploitation: wage deflation, land grabs, sanctions, wars of aggression, environmental devastation, and so on. When a million Syrians came to Europe, it was not because they were seeking to steal European jobs, but because their country was facing a full-blown economic and military terror campaign underwritten by Washington and NATO.
This form of involuntary migration represents a dual crime. First, the skilled workers — the doctors, nurses, engineers, and so on — are fully absorbed into Western labor markets. They are often well rewarded. This drives a “brain drain” that deprives nations stunted by the legacies of colonialism of the cadre necessary to develop. Second, the working poor are instrumentalized to settle conflicts between factions of the imperialist ruling class. The situation in Morocco is an extreme case of the latter: a people first made destitute by imperialism, and then hurled by it at an intransigent “ally” to punish it for not showing enough love for the permanent war.
These tendencies are intrinsic to imperialism, and they cannot be resolved within it. We are already in a situation where “migrants” from “the jungle” are gunned down at the borders of “the garden” — or consigned to concentration camps and slave markets just beyond it — and the chaos becomes a pretext for the further militarization of our societies. We cannot advance towards a “humane migration policy” without solving the more fundamental problem.
But there is a clear alternative. Socialist states — from the Eastern Bloc to China to Cuba — have had precisely the opposite effect. First, they trained cadres that then returned to their countries of origin as doctors, teachers, engineers, or architects, helping undo the effects of the imperialist brain drain. Second, they supported the peaceful development of the global periphery to enable its working people to remain within their borders.
This is why the question of migrant rights cannot be abstracted from the struggle against imperialism and, at the end of the day, cannot be definitively resolved outside the struggle for socialism.
Mamdani just spent several minutes detailing Netanyahu’s alleged war crimes before saying he has no authority to arrest him and leaves the matter to the federal government.
Fine. Then use every power the mayor does have.
Don’t roll out the red carpet for a wanted war criminal. Don’t use the NYPD to insulate him from public outrage. Don’t suppress the New Yorkers who take to the streets demanding accountability.
If Netanyahu is truly not welcome in New York City, that principle should be reflected in how the city treats his visit, not just in rhetoric.
Class struggle is violence, even when it's bloodless. Strikes, blockades & boycotts deprive capitalists of profits – the means of their survival. Capitalists know this and respond accordingly. Don't preach peaceful resistance and expect the capitalist to accept it as such.
@TainaBorrero the spirit of conquistadors thrives in you, both candidates endorsed are Latina. Sorry your whiteness does not allow you to see past Darializa’s hair texture or both candidates anti colonial views. but, excepted from a zionist.
"This is how the homeland is defended from zionism-imperialism and apartheid: People of Bolivia on their twenty-sixth day of struggle against the colonialists, steadfast in defense of the homeland, the general strike is the response against Rodrigo Paz puppet far-rightist and his regime."
the various constituencies and neighborhoods a congressional representative covers would have you believe that Riverdale (white neighborhood) holds the same beliefs as Highbridge, Mott Haven, or Morris Heights.
@Ericrse37986 He doesn’t care MORE about Israel. He cares about EVERYONE and understands that Israel is our democratic ally who helps us in many ways. Btw since you haven’t gotten polio, thank a jewish doctor named Jonas Salk who invented the vaccine.
the west cannot comprehend martyrdom because their civilisation is organized around comfort and consumption. to them dying for liberation seems irrational because they have never loved anything more than individual survival.
“What am I going to do today or tomorrow in order to contribute to the material conditions that enable revolutionary love to be the norm and not the aberration?”

"Every country has a Strait of Hormuz"
Meaning every country — in the US, every state — has an economic chokepoint, a bottleneck in the genocide's supply chain, that can be targeted from within, and help bring about imperialist economic collapse
If you do not meet the force of imperialism with a defensive force of our own, the barbarity will continue. The Axis of Resistance understands this. Will people in the West finally understand it, or continue to cower in complicity as we wait for the next election?
"Let us leave this Europe, where they are never done speaking of Man, yet murder Man wherever they find him."
The West ends as it began, as a genocidal monstrosity only capable of supremacy and domination, never co-existence with the rest of the world.
Ruled over by unrestrained vampires for centuries, who feed the soul-less body of capital with the lifeblood of the global majority. With the remaining populace of the West watching in stupor, projecting what energy they might have towards joining their vampiric ruling class in villainizing those who dared be sovereign. A disempowered, confused populace more committed to securing its pathetic bag - the wages of whiteness - than sacrificing it in the pursuit of a principled life.
As the last vampire now threatens annihilation of the most righteous, and Western subjects spectate to this genocidal violence yet again, it is the followers of the twelve Imams, those prepared to stand under the Mahdi's banner, who will change the course of history and turn the world, finally after five centuries, right side up.
the true purpose of these bills are the criminalization of anti-genocide activism and the suppression of political organizing at a time when those who speak for Palestinian human rights face assassination attempts, detention, and state-sanctioned repression.
🚨 Breaking: The NYC Council voted to pass the synagogue protection bill with a veto-proof majority of 44 of 51 members.
The bill to create a buffer zone for protests outside educational centers also passed, but only by a 30–19 margin — Mamdani could veto it if he chooses.
Eid mubarak to our people in Palestine, Iran, Sudan, and Lebanon. Eid mubarak to our martyrs, prisoners, elders, children, and freedom fighters. Eid mubarak to those who have sacrificed everything to fight for a world free from imperialism and colonialism.
No one infantilizes Americans more than Americans.
They are forever cast as misled children.
Tricked by elites.
Manipulated by media.
Betrayed by politicians.
But how many decades does a population get to hide behind naivety?
How many invasions?
How many lies?
How many mass graves?
How many "mistakes" before innocence expires?
The rest of the world does not get this luxury.
Vietnam did not get it.
Iraq did not get it.
Palestine does not get it.
Only Americans are allowed to sit atop the machinery of death and still be described as tragically confused.
