A prime example of exactly how @DefraGovUK @Ofwat and @EnvAgency have failed both customers and the environment.

The River Ver is a chalk stream, 1 of only 225 in the entire world yet @thameswater has being dumping sewage into it for a total of 3,000 hours, this year alone.

And between the lot of them they do what exactly?

His boss explained “ He shadowed the Surgical Registrar last night, and you can’t expect someone to be here all night , then work the next day “

@chinnychick Understood. But what about the days when it’s almost impossible to get out of bed or get dressed? I think there are days when it’s not possible get yourself up and out . Matter of degree, not a disagreement.

Skircoat Lodge Children's Home in Halifax, West Yorkshire was a house of horrors. Hundreds of children endured unspeakable abuse at the hands of those who were meant to protect them. There was nothing homely about this place. Thirty years later, I refuse to let it fade into silence. I have campaigned relentlessly for an apology that should have come long ago. The local authorities and police were fully aware of the horrors unfolding, yet they turned a blind eye. The truth is, the system we have today could easily slip back into the same darkness if we continue to ignore and neglect the lessons of the past. Children in care are still children.
