@RepPressley’s husband spent 10 years in prison for drug-trafficking. Three days before she was sworn into office, he started a “consulting” firm.

Recently, he won a $2 billion contract to build a courthouse in Springfield beating out experienced and long-standing career-builders from the Springfield area. I guess wood shopping classes in prison have improved greatly.

I keep telling people career politicians are the enemy of the people and that we live in the corruption era.

In 2001 George W Bush proposed a partial privatization plan for Social Security so you could put 10% of your SS contribution into the markets.

People rejected this.

We can now see that if it had passed, the 10% that went into the markets would have outperformed the 90% the government managed, the program would be solvent, and the average SS recipient would be receiving 2X what they currently receive.

The worst bet you’ll ever make is betting on government.
