@lilyraynyc@glenngabe Ah, so using other people's content to train LLMs ain't OK. Thank God Reddit is the only site whose content is used for this; it'd be a shame if there were millions of publishers whose work is used by Microsoft, and thank God it's only Microsoft that does this!
@dan_shure@OpenAI I'd bet it's Bing, too, would be most convenient. Would you mind trying some non-English queries to see if it takes English pages and translates or if it searches the web in the language you're using? (Don't have access yet, but maybe I could prompt you in the meantime?
@Kevin_Indig Not just optimizing but rather creating them semi automically and at scale; turns out I'm in a fairly image heavy niche; made sure our images are lazy loaded in a Google friendly way (don't trust some of the older recommendations from Google itself) image sitemaps, image schema +
@Kevin_Indig And a few other things; end result - 50% more traffic in q3 and q4 YoY despite covid (-20% YoY last time I checked for web traffic despite higher visibility and rankings)
