Our Government will always work to fulfil the vision of Bhagwan Mahavir. Last year, we conferred the status of Classical Language on Prakrit, a decision which received a lot of appreciation.

Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu set a record for the highest game intelligence score in 2024 after his win against Magnus Carlsen in Round 3 of Norway Chess. 🌟♟️

Pragg's game intelligence score of 177 is theoretically close to the maximum achievable score—a feat requiring:
1️⃣ A victory,
2️⃣ An opponent with the highest possible Elo rating, and
3️⃣ Near-flawless play, as determined by Stockfish.

By defeating the World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen with almost no errors, Pragg cemented his name in chess history. What’s even more remarkable is Magnus himself naming this game as his most memorable of the tournament, even after winning the Norway Chess title.

Kudos to @rpraggnachess for this awe-inspiring performance and to @drmehmetismail for highlighting this great achievement. 🙏

18-year-old Indian prodigy Gukesh D is the new FIDE World Champion and the 18th in the line of champions, the youngest ever in history.

In a dramatic and unexpected turn of events, when it seemed that the final game was heading for a draw and tiebreaks were unavoidable, the champion Ding Liren made a huge mistake and capitulated three moves later. The final result of the match is 7.5-6.5 for the challenger.
