Hope there will be support and access for people with restricted mobility @drewsandelands Green Network to connect city’s nature areas https://t.co/FbCmXr03lk
Not long now until our free mobility service starts on 1st April @KelvingrovePark. We are looking for volunteers to assist with bookings, buddy service and much more plz share.... Thank you
@hopefulhe_art We can offer you one of our electric mobility scooters for free to access parts of @KelvingroveArt. Hopefully we will have electric chairs soon.
@easyJet Reported at customs but ground crew couldn't locate the passport at the time. This is the problem caused with putting baggage in hold. We are a disability charity taking people away for first time...
@easyJet Thank you. One of our party lost their passport on the aircraft. This was the result of putting our bags in the hold. Could Easy Jet locate the missing passport. Seating was 5A?
@comscot@KelvingroveArt@glasgowlife@Glasgow_Live Not yet. Hopefully we can roll our service into the community for day to day use soon. We have been piloting something similar with someone using our scooters to roam around the West End and fits into a cab for the city centre. We are hoping it will be running for xmas
@comscot@KelvingroveArt@glasgowlife@Glasgow_Live That s true Robert and it's pitty they aren't suitable for certain models of powered mobility scooters, Individual needs, may require mobility scooter that's more sturdy, supported seating, suitable for most terrain etc especially next to the park.
Our free electric mobility scooter service at Kelvingrove Park will begin April until Oct 2019. We are looking for volunteers to support with service delivery and bookings.
@GlasgowCC Will the new corridor offer members of our community with restricted Mobility the same operrunties as others to link in with different communities? Pathways fit for purpose, free charging points for electric mobility scooters and free scooters for people who need them!
@KelvingroveArt "Doors open to everyone" does this mean @KelvingroveArt are now finally allowing our free electric mobility scooters into Kelvingrove Art Gallery🤔 or ask people with restricted mobility to use the service elevator.
@GlasgowCC Part of the framework should included free disability scooters for members of our communities to access all parts of the city without barriers.
It’s to be chilly ❄️ so our gritting crews will be heading out at 1pm to treat priority 1 outer paths, footbridges and segregated cycleways. They’ll be back out at 8pm to treat priority 1 roads.

@libby_mcarthur Surely the revenue from our (the people of Glasgows) common good assets is enough to keep them safe and free for future generations to enjoy.... not to make up GCC budget.
Free mobility scooters for people to access the bandstand have been withdrawn for August. This down to the common good asset being leased to @regularmusicuk we're asking ourselves is this in the common good?...@GDA__online@glasgowlife@LeaderGCC
