@MarriottNigel @BritainElects @ElectionMapsUK @UKParliament Liverpool Walton 1885-1918 had nothing in common with its same named successors, nor did Newcastle-upon-Tyne North 1918-1983.

In compiling the index for the website I've noticed that some constituency names since 1885 can be changed into another by changing one letter. For example, Malton (which doesn't count, as since 1885 its been Thirsk & Malton) could be changed to Halton, Maldon or Melton.
