Time is running out for soil.

Every second, an acre of fertile land turns to desert. By 2045, we could face a 40% drop in food production as soil degradation accelerates worldwide.

The numbers are alarming: 63% of India's soil already has less than 0.5% organic matter. The US has lost half its topsoil. In Europe, 74% of soil contains less than 2% organic matter, and two-thirds of Africa's arable land could be lost by 2030.

By advocating for policies that raise soil organic matter on farmlands to a minimum of 3-6% (depending on regional factors) we can turn the situation around.

Our children deserve a world with living soil.
