Disappointing to see some of the responses to this story. Pretty clear that those obsessed with the RNLI's role in "taxiing economic migrants" live nowhere near the coast!
@Hargraver Some, sure, but I think there are so many factors at play it's difficult to draw that as a firm conclusion. Reporting at start of COVID showed many charities taking preventative steps, only to find later, with emergency funding & other measures, their worst fears weren't realised

Such welcome news! Congratulations to everyone who has been relentless in using their voice in calling for this support. Understanding the detail will be critical, but this has the potential of providing some well needed relief!
The chancellor just announced £100m to help charities support communities / £2m to help small charities /£10m for suicide prevention charities / £63m fund for leisure centres and pools #Budget2023

Friday message to Charity CEOs. Many of you I know are veering between worry, anxiety & for some, abject terror about the future of your charity. Remember: you are not alone, many of your colleagues are facing the same shitstorm. It is very unlikely to be your fault, the…
Such disappointing news. It's almost as if a multi billion $ corporation can't grasp how a few quid here and there can actually make the world of difference to those rubbing pennies together

It's only since I started rejecting them and the sites threw up my options for what to accept/not that I realised how intrusive some of the cookies were. It may take several extra clicks - sometimes each time you move to a different page on the site, but for me, it's worth it.
