@RIDICULO_pathy @MDtruthss Assuming she dates men equal to or above her pay, the single/wealthy men I know order UberEats everyday; no one's cooking skills can match your entire town/cities restaurant selection. I.e. not as important of a skill as it used to be (for people who make good money).
@RenoHemonc@jbcarmody How are those two connected? Medical students are already deep into the path they chose by the time they take step 1. They're less motivated because NP are making money? No shot.
@thetradingbro I manage a fund for all of my nieces and nephews (their grandmom has a lot of money but she's not sure how to invest it). Seems like a waste of my time and my moms money if they eventually buy a minivan with it. Re-invest or pay off your house; don't buy a depreciating asset.
@Thefrugalgay11 I've never taken anything, but I have broken items that you listed and then forgot to tell the owner about it (including silverware, which sometimes I leave in the box thar comes w/ ubereats and then goes to trash). I'd guess it's more likely those items are in the trash.
@TomPMarshall @sh_abbers @brillfish You're from the UK; you're too poor to even purchase a BTC, so I understand why you don't know anything about it.
Let me know if you need any financial advice, or perhaps a referral for that abysmal hairline of yours.
@jack_turban@washingtonpost I wouldn't necessarily say it's pseudoscience. I know a good doc who runs an IV company; he never exaggerates the health benefits, basically says, "this may make your hangover not feel as bad." (I've heard him speak to his clients). But ofc some oversell the benefits.
@ReeAmilcarScott@djvlad@MorganJerkins@Princeton Lol you write trash fiction and only got a job at Univ of Maryland as a DEI hire (probably one of the only black fiction writers they had as an applicant so they had to pick you). Hopefully some day you get a job that actually contributes to the world (doubtful).
@AbudBakri I'm not against ozempic, but worth noting that the 60 to 68 week trend is how it always goes (I.e. significant weight loss, then you plateau; do you stay on it forever to maintain your current weight, or go off it and inevitably put the weight back on?).
@eyeslasho Similarly, non-racial insults still have a hierarchy. E.g. someone calls me rude? Whatever. Someone calls me ugly? I'm annoyed. Calls me weak infront of my wife? We may have to fight.
Calling someone the N word ranks above all of those & will likely cause a fight.
@EndWokeness It seems like a small amount of the group is participating in the prayer; I'd guess these people are Muslims (some of the hijabs looks too neat to be a random white dudes).
@ScottChoppin All things being equal, I'd take the single 30 year old guy over a 30 year old girl who has small children and/or wants children in the near future. It's obvious who will be working longer hours and take less time off
