No one has a perfect life. We all have problems that cause us pain, or lose loved ones and look for someone to blame. The fact that few will ever come to know is that we are living in a prison, and the warden is not a kind or honest person. When bad things happen, and most of us have experienced that very thing we will often blame God. Why did you let this happen if you are my God? etc. What people do not realize is that God is not in charge of this world, Satan is, and he is the warden of the unbelievers. Here is a verse that helps to explain:

2 Corinthians 4:4 "In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."

First please notice the lower case 'g' in the word god above. What Paul means here is that Satan reigns over the unbelieving (those who sin (intentionally act in a manner against the will of God)). One of Satan's greatest powers is the power of lies. He convinced Eve in the Garden to work against the will of God to bite the apple committing the original sin. Satan's lies convince the unbelievers and blinds them from the truth, which results in causing those who do not believe to accept false philosophies. A relevant example today is the number of people who believe homosexuality is OK, or that it is OK for people to convince children that they are of 'another gender' while they are experiencing the angst of puberty that we all went through, resulting in them mutilating their bodies. How many murders, stabbings, arsons, and riots are rampant around the world today? What is the source of such hatred and enmity? The source is not God (He is love - agape love), the source is Satan attempting to entice and steal the souls of those who are lost from God.

We all are in this world because we are not worthy of living in the presence of our Creator. This is our chance to prove to God, and ourselves that we can admit this fact and confess it to Him, and that we are willing to change to become better people, to strive to live righteous lives.

John the Apostle stated it well. 1 John 5:19: "We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one."

What John is saying here is that our current world system is under Satan's influence. This is his chance to steal our souls that were gifted to us by God, and the only way out is for us to be redeemed, and our redemption can only be received through Jesus Christ.

Again, the reason we are living in such a world where terrible things happen to all of us, is that we do not deserve to live in a perfect world (heaven). However, God has given us a chance to live in that perfect world. All we must do is believe (have faith), repent (admit our sins and unworthiness), take the time to learn of God's will (read His Word), and strive to improve ourselves and the lives of others before our day of judgement arrives.

Institutions of higher learning should not receive tuition up front, nor be compensated through federal monies or loans.
