Today at AIC Church Ikutha in Kitui County, our Board Chair @Mairori4 stood in for CS @InteriorKE @kipmurkomen during a powerful fundraiser—and delivered a vital message: Parents must lead the frontline in shielding our youth from the grip of alcohol and drug abuse.

This comes on the heels of the just-released NACADA report revealing that 1 in 4 university students in Kenya has used drugs or alcohol, with cannabis (6.5%) and prescription drug misuse (10.3%) alarmingly on the rise.

He challenged County Governments to collaborate closely with the National Government to establish rehabilitation centers, calling it a critical step in tackling this growing crisis and offering youth a path to recovery and purpose.
