Everyone’s a gangsta until they have an interview with principal swe at amazon working on bedrock🫠.
We discussed harness engineering for an hour, started with what is a model and ended with in depth brainstorming how would I optimize codex/claude code etc for a specific use niche.
Some of the nit-bits:
how would i fundamentally enforce guardrails robustly,
why current sub agents architecture is very unoptimised (build your own system from scratch),
how does tool calling works, etc.
Need to lock in hard.
And yea sorry to disappoint but no leetcode.
PS: Will post the complete experience once I have some time.
Just remembered when I had my Bloomberg system design round. It was the first time I had to design systems at that scale, and I was so nervous.
I put out a tweet asking if anyone would be kind enough to do a mock interview with me. Out of everyone, @kelseyhightower responded. He gifted me a solid 30 minutes of his time and helped sharpen my doubts.
I went into the interview feeling super confident and nailed it. I'm really grateful to people like Kelsey who devote their time to helping others.
There are 10x engineers and he’s top of that list.
We've raised $65 billion in Series H funding at a $965 billion post-money valuation, led by @AltimeterCap, Dragoneer, @Greenoaks, and @sequoia.
This investment will help us advance our research and expand our capacity to meet growing demand for Claude.
@dondekojo and I had a $100 bet on Arsenal vs Man City winning the league.
He won yesterday and, instead of taking the money, asked me to direct it to a better cause, which I’m now very grateful to be part of.
There are a few talented Nigerian kids set to represent the country at an international chess tournament being hosted in Nigeria for the first time, but some of them can’t afford the €180 registration fee.
I’ve just donated $500 to cover two participants, and still can’t for the life of me believe that a 2000-rated FIDE player almost missed out on this opportunity because of registration fees.
It’s honestly embarrassing cos you’d expect something like registration fees for kids representing the country to be covered by a government body, federation, or something idk
If you can support one child, two children, or even contribute whatever you can, please do.
Sometimes the difference between a gifted child competing on the world stage and watching from home is just a few people like you reading this deciding to care.
Abeg support these guys however you can.
I’ve spent the past couple of weeks building Looters: a public archive of Nigerian political corruption since the 1990s.
Governors, ministers, shell companies, Swiss accounts, the Jersey trusts, — one searchable graph.

I met a lady in her mid 50s and I can’t shake off the conversation we had. She subtly reminded me that there’s a timeframe to run and work as hard as you can and you shouldn’t miss that window. Take your highest earning and natural strength timeline seriously.
@Ssaasquatch You cooked on this chief.
My only regret was not buying more!
Kept setting buy limit at 250 and 300 until it took off. Now not even sure it make sense to top porty at current price.
