Coding agents can now take a well-described change and turn it into a pull request. Put them behind a pipeline with sandboxes, tests, previews and review, and you have a software factory.
That's real progress. But it answers a narrower question than most product teams are asking. A software factory answers "can we build this?" The question PMs, designers and ops start their day with is "what should we build, and did it work?"
We think the software factory has to grow into a product factory. And the people who run a product factory aren't only engineers. They're the product people who sit closest to customers.

About pro rata:
We often write the first check. Before friends and family.
We’re there when there’s no product, no traction, and sometimes no company.
We roll up our sleeves when things get hard. We bridge companies when nobody else will.
So when things finally start working, why should we step aside and give up our ownership to bigger funds?
We took the risk when nobody else would. Why should we give up the upside when everyone else wants in?
Don't confuse motion with progress. Many startups are very busy, but they aren't actually moving the needle. Velocity is speed with a specific direction.

Teams are shipping faster, and some now have PMs and designers shipping too. PR review is the new bottleneck.
Lightsprint already consolidates feedback from all your code review agents (@GeminiApp Code Assist, @cursor_ai Bugbot, @greptile , @coderabbitai , or whichever you use) into one place and sends it back to your agent to fix.
Now every PR also gets a flow diagram that maps the change: which components were added, removed, or modified, with line counts on each so reviewers can see where the real changes are.
Tech leads tell us it’s the fastest way to figure out where to start, instead of reading the entire diff top to bottom.
