@bwplotka@kubernetesio Yes. Primarily the PV data, but also number of active vs desired pods (deployment rollout progression) and pod restarts (crashloop detection). Recently also certificate metrics to figure out if rotation is needed in airgapped clusters.
@bwplotka@alexellisuk@kubernetesio That depends on used endpoint. Data from /metrics/cadvisor is indeed giving metrics from cadvisor. However /metrics/resources is AFAIK giving resource usage metrics but directly from CRI.

After 5 years of development, over 1M downloads, and more than 1k stars on GitHub the cloudalchemy ansible role for @PrometheusIO was deprecated and archived. The new and improved role can be found at https://t.co/K14QYHGxvB
Just got back from vacation to an email (!) saying that I got laid off from being tech lead at Timescale. I would expect more grace from a startup.
Anyhow anyone looking for an SRE / Platform Engineer with a strong observability background?

You have a PVC that has corrupt data. The StatefulSet Pod crash loops.
How do you create a Pod that mounts the PVC to download the corrupt data for trouble shooting and then cleaning it up?
What's the workflow people have?
We just did this and it was way to manual... 😄
@MetalMatze@LiliCosic I would clone the PV (https://t.co/Sv53JPc3hT) for future troubleshooting and then recover app data from the backup to reduce outage time.
However, as for accessing data - debug pod it is 🤷
@AlexJonesax Usually, the latest openshift was mapped to the latest kubernetes version and this could be fairly easily checked by looking at branches in https://t.co/UHh213RAsS repo.
📢 It's official! #InfluxDB Cloud powered by IOx is now generally available!
