My 9-5 is (finally) ending after 5 years. My boss has changed my end date no less than 5 times in the past couple of years.
My last day is May 9th and Iโll get severance pay until the end of September.
Starting a window cleaning business as thereโs a serious lack of good ones in my area.
Follow along as I grow it!
@loigwine@irentdumpsters@topher4235@StrykerDigital I hear you. I got on a call with @irentdumpsters when my business was ~2 months old. Had a great first year and saw massive growth against companies that have been around way longer than me. In year two, I'm top 3 (and number 1 in most spots) in my primary service area.
I changed the smallest thing and I went from getting 1-3 reviews a week to 1-3 a day.
Instead of marking the job complete (triggering my review flow) and then sending the invoice, I started sending the invoice and THEN marking the job complete.
Mixing local SEO with paid marketing channels is really how you can grow your business quickly.
He was a perfect example of a business we have helped increase its revenue by combining the two!
@irentdumpsters Meta ads and working with @StrykerDigital has absolutely exploded my business in year 2 and Iโm scrambling to hire (been owner/operator until now)
@irentdumpsters Iโm running ads for window cleaning (somehow Iโm the only one in my area doing this) and Iโm making an absolute killing. ROAS hovers around 6-7x and ltv:cac for March was 22:1.
I clean windows for a living and I love telling people that.
The reactions are funny. But here's the thing: I supported a family of 4 in my first 7 months working for myself, set my own schedule, and spent zero days in an office.
"Just" a window cleaner though.
I actually made it! Finished at my 9-5 last Friday.
Today was my first day of full time window cleaning.
$1100 revenue day and a packed schedule for the rest of the month.
