I scanned 23,317 Unicode characters against Latin a-z across 230 fonts. 793 are visually confusable and missing from confusables.txt.
143 novel confusables for the letter L alone, more than all 49 high-risk pairs in TR39 combined.

Chromium, Rust, and Django all detect lookalike characters to prevent spoofing. I surveyed 12 implementations and found they all handle Unicode differently.
