Neil has just finished delivering a very successful level 6 (final year) Web Security module @SHUComputing and this also promises to be good. @SamuraiDigSec
It will be an interesting evening, I’m looking forward to it - of course students @SHUComputing and in fact anyone interested in the issues around cyber and IoT are very welcome.
#SheffieldIoT meetup is taking place next week! (Thursday 6th Feb) We've got a great speaker line-up to announce, starting with Dr Jims Marchang, Cybersecurity Lead @sheffhallamuni.
Register at: https://t.co/MgL85gIiSh (open to all with an interest in #InternetofThings!)
Just joined the Sheffield IoT meet-up in the Diamond building at the @sheffielduni . Great attendance, and I think there’ll be lots of interesting talks to follow.
Just had a couple of really good meetings with the uni.
Going to have to shuffle rooms around next year due to building work but all looking good. Still plenty of space for everyone.
Is there anyone out there who, as a result of SteelCon in some way, ended up going to Hallam Uni as a student or otherwise doing business with them?
Trying to get some stats to show how we bring money into the uni.

Really pleased that our Masters Cyber Security has achieved full certification from the @NCSC . The cyber security academic group work very hard for our students, to provide an excellent start to their career, and this makes it worthwhile.
Contact myself or the Course Leader @sazargari for more info, or possibly an early walk around our digital forensics and cyber security labs in Cantor. Interviews 1st July.
To develop our undergrad teaching, and to help us develop the Forensics Masters alongside our Masters in Cyber Security programme we are looking for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Digital Forensics at @HallamComputing @sheffhallamuni https://t.co/7YJpiEFuk5
@leekern13 It really sounds like Mr Lee Kern hates Corbyn more than he hates anti semites. Aren’t there a few of those in the other parties too? Or is anti semitism exclusively Labour? The left is criticised for being “life of Brian”, the usual amusing irony is they hate opponents less
Another year another winner! Well done to all the @bcs_lovelace finalists. Special 💕 to all @shucomputing student finalists and special congrats to Mariam Aomar Perez , 2 wins in 2 years running! 👏👏👏 #BCSLL19
FT hits the spot again with this piece on research by @future_majority “Millennials use much more social media and online tools than Boomers,” Google held 3.51 gig versus 631 meg on the writers. @HallamComputing @SHUCyberSec https://t.co/zOBKi1wMER
A little late, but thank you to you too. It was a pleasure seeing you @HallamComputing on our modules from the MSc Info Sec. The very best for the future
