ICE is the enemy of American freedoms and you should never talk to people like Agent Redcoat here.
Don't open the door in the first place, but if you do, close it in their face the moment you realize who it is and what they're doing.
Since the South Lawn of the White House now looks like a carnival they should at least set up some games so Americans can win healthcare by guessing Trump’s weight or how many girls he’s raped. @realDonaldTrump
Trump has paid less in tax than a public school teacher, at times paying nothing. In a bogus settlement deal, he negotiated with his own administration to prevent any audit of his tax returns.
I filed an amendment to ensure Congressional oversight of this corrupt deal and consideration of legislation to block it.
In December, President Trump called for me to be investigated, arrested, and hanged over a 90-second video that restated existing law.
My lawyer's advice was straightforward: go quiet. Keep your head down. This will blow over.
But in this administration, the reality is that keeping your head down does not keep you safe. Staying quiet when power comes after you does not make the threat go away. It just teaches the people making the threat that it works.
When a president can call for the arrest and execution of a sitting senator for quoting the law, and the expected response is silence, that's a problem that goes way beyond me. That affects every American who works in government, every journalist, every ordinary citizen who might speak up.
A grand jury of ordinary Americans looked at this situation and said no. They understood what was at stake, and I think most Americans do.
We refuse to accept that this is the new normal.
This moment isn't really about me. When the administration is willing to go after a senator this way, it sends a message to every American who might speak up. That should concern people in both parties.
Let me get this straight.
Howard Lutnick, Trump’s Commerce Secretary, got caught lying about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Democrats grilled him about it and finally got him to agree to testify before the House Oversight Committee.
Four weeks later, Lutnick wrote a $5 million check to the super PAC that funds House Republicans, including members who sit on that committee. Then he showed up for a closed-door interview where, despite pushback from Democrats, no cameras or recordings were allowed.
This is the most corrupt administration in American history and it’s not even close.

You know what to do ‼️
Trump in 2008: Anyone who invades the Middle East under false pretenses should be impeached.
Dear @RepRalphNorman: Please watch this video. You and I were Members of Congress when January 6 happened. Remember?
Happy to bring police officers who were assaulted on January 6 to your office so they can explain to you how they got their injuries.
This New York Times piece is worth your time. Here’s what is happening, as simply as I can put it.
Back in January, Trump sued the IRS, an agency he controls, demanding $10 billion over the leak of his tax returns a number of years ago.
IRS lawyers did their jobs. They wrote a memo laying out the defenses that could beat the suit, including the fact that Trump filed too late. His own lawyer was in court when the leaker pleaded guilty in October 2023, more than two years before Trump sued.
The Justice Department never showed up to court. Never argued back. Never used the defenses sitting on their desk.
The judge got suspicious and ordered both sides to explain whether they were actually opposing each other or just colluding. The day before that brief was due, Trump dropped the suit.
Same day, his Justice Department announced a $1.776 billion taxpayer-funded “anti-weaponization fund.”
Trump gets a formal apology. The IRS agrees to drop any audits of him and his family, even though a 2024 Times report found a loss in an ongoing audit could cost him over $100 million.
The acting Attorney General, Trump’s former criminal defense attorney, picks the five commissioners who decide who gets paid. Trump can fire any of them. Proud Boys and Oath Keepers are not ruled out.
This is the most corrupt thing I’ve ever seen from an American president.
Where in the hell are my Republican colleagues?

this was so sweet. Stephen Colbert just ended his final episode of The Late Show while singing "Hello, Goodbye" with Paul McCartney. his family and the show's crew then joined them on stage before Paul turned off the lights to the Ed Sullivan Theater
My Republican colleagues called a hearing on threats to the Supreme Court’s legitimacy, so I decided to read just a few examples of the $2.4 million in gifts Justice Clarence Thomas has accepted from his ultra wealthy allies:
A few things.
The ASU study found a localized effect generally detectable within about 1,700 feet of the facilities, not a Valley-wide temperature shift.
It measured just four facilities, describes the findings as “initial observations,” and says more study is needed.
It was also not designed to fully isolate other major urban heat variables such as pavement, parking lots, transportation, tree canopy, irrigation, or surrounding land use — the same kinds of variables that Phoenix researchers have repeatedly identified as primary drivers of the Valley’s urban heat island effect.
Notably, the study found that irrigated, treed green space near one facility actually appeared to create a cooling effect downwind, which researchers suggested could serve as a mitigation measure.
Even the paper notes that exhaust height, discharge angle, equipment density, and landscaping can substantially reduce thermal impacts.
So this is not an argument against data centers. It’s proof that siting, buffering, and engineering matter.
No nation, no society, and no international order can call itself just and humane if it measures its success solely by power or prosperity while neglecting those who live at the margins. Indeed, Christ’s love for the least and the forgotten compels us to reject every form of selfishness that leaves the poor and the vulnerable invisible.
Obama: “The president shouldn’t have a bunch of side hustles that companies and foreign entities can invest in.”
Trump has raked in at least $4 billion since taking office, which is why he’s widely recognized as the most corrupt president in American history.
Six of America's wealthiest billionaires spent more than $100 million apiece to help get Donald Trump elected president.
That's a broken campaign finance system. And it desperately needs reform. https://t.co/2jlmTtKCEa
Michelle and I can’t wait for you to visit the Obama Presidential Center!
Starting on June 19, the Center will be open to the public, and you’ll be able to check out the Museum along with public spaces like a new branch of the Chicago Public Library with a reading room, a two-acre playground, a fruit and vegetable garden, and more.
Tickets available at https://t.co/ahkDMKalIn.
Ted Cruz, 10 years ago today:
“I want to tell you what I really think of Donald Trump. This man is a pathological liar...He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth…The man cannot tell the truth, but he combines it with being a narcissist at a level I don't think this country has ever seen”
