The view from on high as trams returned to the streets of Dudley for the first time in almost a century.

@WMmetro trams were on track on Wednesday as testing started on the new route past the historic Dudley Castle and new Dudley Interchange.

It will connect Wednesbury to Dudley for the first time by tram since 1930.

The town centre route takes in @dudleyzoo, the Dudley Interchange and Flood Street near Dudley's Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre.

Our number one priority is to ensure safe services for everyone, so testing will continue over the coming weeks.
