@BudElliott3 I think there’s an interesting grab bag of high ceiling potential with Mendoza, Kienholz, Angeli, Grunkmeyer after 5. You could tell me they were all terrible or they were all pretty good and I’d buy it. The bottom of the league is gross at QB.

@BillyM_91 The only reason people are making a big deal about it this year is because Washington and Utah owe protected picks to NBA favorites. I don’t remember as big of deal about it last year when the 76ers mailed it in. Or when the Spurs decided they didn’t want to make the play in.

@WorldWideWob @KLS_Owner To a certain extent the lottery creates these issues by itself. If the Jazz get Cooper Flagg last year by virtue of worst record do they try as hard to tank this year? Or do they put a semi-respectable roster together to try and develop him and while bad are unoffensively bad?

@BillyM_91 Don’t understand keeping a GM who constructed a roster that was pretty dependent on Brandin Cooks to make plays down the field and had a bunch of washed up guys at CB. Beane is easily doing a worse job than McDermott did.

@maxtoscano1 @Cvee23 No, but you should around maximizing your earnings. It’s also a violent sport where injuries can end your career any given play, and he’d be locking in like 50m fully guaranteed. Jets are also about as good of landing spot as a Qb could ask for in a second overall pick.

@maxtoscano1 @Cvee23 All the more reason to strike while the iron is hot. Also if you go that high you’re going to get a ton of second chances. Zach Wilson got a 6 million dollar deal this past season, same as what’s reported for Moore to come back, and he’s been terrible the entire time.
