Empowering the Parsi Legacy!

The Ministry of Minority Affairs conducted an advocacy workshop today at Mumbai University to further promote and amplify the Jiyo Parsi Scheme, a flagship initiative supporting the Parsi community in increasing population through assisted childbirth and family support.

The programme, hosted by the Maharashtra State Minority Development Department, was attended by Shri Alok Verma DDG, and Shri Ranjeet Kumar, Sr. Director, NIC from the Ministry.

NMDFC, under MoMA, also engaged with Parsi participants, highlighting easy and affordable loan facilities for entrepreneurship, startups and small businesses.

IIPS, the agency commissioned to study the impact of the Jiyo Parsi Scheme, presented key findings and insights on community demographics and programme outcomes.

MoMA remains committed to supporting and empowering the Parsi community through holistic, citizen-centric initiatives.
