To the people of Europe,

A large portion of your taxes is spent on fighting terrorism, which means European governments value your security. But how is it possible that some of your politicians prevent the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) from being placed on the terrorist list?

Why should one appease the world’s largest terrorist group, which massacres the people of Iran, plans catastrophes such as October 7, orchestrates terrorism in Europe and America, and has dragged millions of people in the Middle East into blood and carnage? Is it not a fact that terrorism has to be destroyed to have peace in the world?

Instead of spending billions of your tax dollars on fighting the consequences of the IRGC’s terrorist actions, this money can go toward improving livelihoods, energy infrastructure, treatment, and the development of technology in your country.

The people of Iran are now, in the greatest revolution in history, fighting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps with their bare hands. Some estimates say that IRGC forces killed at least 20,000 Iranians in just two days.

Now that the terrorists are in the process of being destroyed and the people of Iran are taking back their country, why do some European leaders prevent the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from being placed on the terrorist list and allow the Islamic Republic to disrupt this process through lobbying?

We ask you to hold your politicians accountable, for the future of your children, the security of your country, world peace, and finally, for humanity. We ask you to stand beside the people of Iran so that the world is cleansed of the most organized terrorist group in history.

Beyond diplomacy, Europe must confront the regime’s influence networks operating within its own borders.

This includes the urgent need to identify, investigate, and publicly expose individuals and organizations that function as apologists or informal representatives of the Islamic Republic while benefiting from the freedoms of democratic societies. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from accountability, especially when propaganda is used to normalize mass killings, censorship, gender apartheid, and political repression.

Governments must conduct transparent investigations into organizations with direct or indirect ties to Tehran, particularly those operating under cultural, religious, or academic labels while advancing the regime’s political and ideological interests. Islamic centers and institutions funded by the Iranian government must face strict scrutiny, full financial transparency, and where necessary, closure. No democratic society should tolerate foreign state backed ideological outposts operating without oversight.

But exposure and sanctions are no longer enough.

The United States and its allies must move to immediate, direct intervention. Under the Responsibility to Protect doctrine, the scale of killings, enforced disappearances, and collective punishment in Iran obligates action. This is a mass atrocity in real time. R2P was created for moments like this.

Failure to intervene is not neutrality. It is complicity.

This is not discrimination. This is democratic self protection.

And it is an essential act of global solidarity with a nation fighting for survival against an authoritarian regime that is massacring its own people.
