Amanda and Braelyn flew back to London Wednesday as Braelyn continues to battle glioblastoma.

"Through his studies involving dogs Richet demonstrated an opposite effect in 1902. After an initial low dose of a substance, a new dose some weeks later could produce a severe reaction."

"In 1913, Richet was awarded the Nobel Prize for his researches on anaphylaxis. I didn’t know to ask. Why would I?

Braelyn had brain tumor surgeries at elite institutions, and no one ever told us that how her tumor tissue was preserved could determine whether it could be used for certain future treatment options.

Unfortunately—but fortunately—Braelyn needed another surgery. By then, thanks to what I had learned here on X, I knew to ask. We made arrangements BEFORE surgery for her tumor tissue to be properly cryogenically preserved.

Six months ago: another massive brain tumor and surgery.

Since then: radiation, rehab, repeated trips to London for DCVax.
