@Morrisons going above + beyond this Xmas🎄thanking Wimbledon staff member who saved family tradition of porkpie Xmas breakfast😅I now have 3 pork pies! After 8wks of 3 ops, sepsis, family Covid, furlough + now self isolation, this is the best present!🎅#christmasisnotcancelled
@Londonfarmers I’m reaching a bit here! 😅 I have a weird family tradition of having a pork pie Christmas breakfast. It breaks my heart not to have one, but our house is now having to self isolate 😟 Anyone offering delivery service from the market? I’d give anything for one 😂🙏
@public_patient @bottomlineibd Same here! I find it mad that I was studying neuroscience 4 years ago and now I really struggle to get my head around complex problems. I can very easily loose the train of thought particularly during a flare.
@tomasthestoma I have this atm so really understand the worry 💗 comments like that don’t help too 🤦♀️🙄 my 1st fistula surgery was done by a general surgeon & it failed. I was then referred to a colorectal surgeon specialising in perianal fistula. They are out there! Happy to DM their name 😊
@bottomlineibd My memory, motivation & mental stamina is getting worser younger than friends. As I’m only 26, I think it’s Crohns. Flare ups take their biggest toll, compared to remission. I’m awake for the 7th night in a row with a flare and sleep plays a huge part in mental well-being 🤦♀️
@bottomlineibd Work stress 🤦♀️But also Crohns found a new path around humira 👎 (kinda creepy) work stress just accelerated it. I had abscess surgery 6 & 3 weeks ago so fairly new to the seton. I have 10cm rectum remaining, I’m praying Stelara stops it 🙏 is your perianal disease in remission?💜
We're highlighting to the general public the profound impact stockpiling essentials like toilet roll can have on people with Crohn’s and Colitis. Hear what we and people living with the conditions have to say about it in the Metro 👇

Incredible! My flare ups are always hard to catch with traditional blood tests. The test often comes a week or two too late, as I struggle to detect the onset of a significant flare and then getting an appointment swiftly. This could be game-changing #IBD#infammatoryboweldisease
Researchers @UT_Dallas have developed sweat-based wearable technology for detecting IL-1β and CRP in #IBD. This could provide real-time flares data. Could early detection and treatment prevent full-blown flares for patients? https://t.co/GhspahrKqm
