Local cllrs claim the £1.5m spent on the closed junction in Dulwich Village is to fight climate change, but turns out for the aesthetics they just needed to cut down the trees...the stump really adds to the vibe.
@kieronjwilliams it's getting harder to take you seriously...
@DulwichCleanAir @kieronjwilliams Nearly all homes are built on some sort of road. Ltn supporters have chosen and labelled some roads ‘main’ to support their schemes. Close the Ltn roads completely, don’t let them out, that’ll cut down the traffic
Sadly 4yrs it’ll be next month the LTN was imposed on the residents of red route communities in Lewisham, this remains how it is today. If you live on Brownhill Rd or up to 500M away sadly you are on the wrong side and you aren’t as fortunate. One only has to look at health data.
Her listening numbers were excellent, she won a huge award for her show, she’s not allowed to talk about the conditions 🤐 or situation 🤫 around her departure, she had just been interviewing a very influential, hostile idiot with a ridiculous amount of power just before she left @LBC - a station that subsequently won’t offer any official substantive reason for her sudden disappearance. Hmmm… I wonder what happened…. I’m sure we can put it together… 🤔
Introducing the brand new #MerkyFC HQ in Croydon - A new multi-purpose centre providing opportunities for young Londoners across football, music and gaming. 3 years in the making so I'm feeling quite emotional. To God be the glory. Thank you to @adidasUK

@GeorgeMonbiot George, why have you ignored the obvious social, racial & environmental injustice of exporting traffic from roads with high car ownership onto community roads where poor people & people of colour are more likely to live, walk, shop, work, learn & play? 😢
