@MerriamWebster 麻烦 ( mafan / máfan ). A Chinese word for things that aren't necessarily fun to do, but still need to be done. Examples include doing errands or taking steps to get, say, a driver's license.
Watching my favorite in-flight movie, Crazy Rich Asians, for the 20th time and this iconic line always get me:
