Devastating news. I had such tremendous respect for Greg as a driver, and we shared countless tough battles on the track. Like so many others, I was inspired by his tireless relief work during Hurricane Helene. My heart goes out to the Biffle family and everyone hurting.
Rest in Peace Greg Biffle and family
We will remember his discovery from late models in the northwest. We will remember him being the first to win championships in Truck and Busch. We will remember the fuel-mileage Pepsi 400 first Cup win. We will chuckle remembering Sterling's "bug eyed dummy" remark. We will remember the 6 wins and runner-up points finish in 2005. We will remember the Truck win in 2019 after two years retirement. We never forget the humanitarian aid after Hurricane Helene.
And like the past losses of Alan Kulwicki, Davey Allison, and the Hendrick family, we will remember the grief of losing our friends in the air

As the only Meteorologist in the U.S. Congress, I will not stand for this administration threatening massive cuts to @NOAA and @NWS.
Weather forecasting is NOT a joke!
It’s a public service every single American needs.
My full statement: ⬇️
@RajaGili@ChrisVanHollen Weather forecasting is 100% critical, especially during times of significant weather. Just ask the people of Alabama who had their lives upended on April 27, 2011 by the super-outbreak, or the people who were impacted by any number of hurricanes over the past several years.
@AyJay15AyJay@bryan_dossey@ChrisVanHollen All weather data in the US comes directly from NOAA and the National Weather Service, which also provides critical weather information during periods of damaging weather (tornado outbreaks, hurricanes, flash flooding events, snowstorms, etc).
