Today I’m joining a unified group of extraordinary citizens from across the country outside the U.S. Supreme Court for The People Vs. Poison Rally - The most consequential case on pesticides in history is being tried inside - we are fighting back. Watch the livestream live: https://t.co/4sW39dQy2E
Monday 9am at The Supreme Court is going to be unreal. I hope you are coming to be part of history - this is how we fight back against Monsanto @Bayer and the politicians who think they work for them instead of the American 🇺🇸 people.
“There have been hundreds of thousands of lawsuits filed over glyphosate and cancer showing a MASSIVE scale of harm.”
Farm Action President Angela Huffman just exposed the real reason why Bayer-Monsanto is pushing for a pesticide immunity shield:
“It’s all about their profits.”
“Rural communities, especially those in agriculture like me, are facing the highest risk of exposure.”
“Counties with the highest cancer rates are overwhelmingly rural.”
“I live in farm country myself here in northwest Ohio. I was diagnosed with stage III cancer when I was just 36 years old.”
“So it’s very personal to me.”
“But it’s also part of a bigger pattern that we’re seeing across rural communities.”
“Rural families, farmers, farm workers—we are all living with the risks that are built into this system and we should have the right to seek justice when we’re harmed.”
“No company should be granted immunity from that.”
“It’s about them escaping liability, not having to pay up when they harm people, when they knowingly fail to disclose the risk of their products.”
We’re going to Washington, DC next week to fight back.
On Monday, April 27, Angela will stand alongside Rep. Thomas Massie, Rep. Chellie Pingree, and dozens of other advocates to demand that the Supreme Court uphold farmers’ right to sue companies like Bayer when they’re harmed by pesticides.

This rally is going to be unlike anything the world has ever seen. We have the most diverse crew of farmers, scientists, doctors, and advocates descending on Washington D.C. on April 27th to show the world we do not consent to being poisoned any longer. https://t.co/u27iYUZkmr
🚨 A major pesticide case is heading to the U.S. Supreme Court.
On April 27, the Court will hear arguments involving Monsanto/Bayer and whether pesticide manufacturers should be shielded from liability after billions in glyphosate-related lawsuits.
@thefoodbabe and an army of advocates are planning a march outside the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., calling it “The People vs. Poison.”
Families, farmers, and concerned citizens are invited to gather peacefully and raise awareness as the future of corporate accountability is debated.
Would you show up?

Vani Hari is calling on Americans to show up for the People vs. Poison rally on April 27 at the Supreme Court.
The Court will decide whether pesticide companies get immunity from harm, and it is critical that MAHA stands up to defend our right to protect ourselves and our families.
@thefoodbabe
Thomas Massie just delivered an urgent warning:
Congress is about to betray every MAHA mom who supported this movement.
How?
They’re on the verge of passing a liability shield for Bayer to mass poison Americans with pesticides.
With no accountability.
This would be a public health catastrophe on the same scale as the vaccine liability shield passed in 1986.
“If farmers contract a form of cancer or non-Hodgson’s lymphoma from this chemical, if this makes it into the Farm Bill, you won’t be able to sue for that.”
@RepThomasMassie@MassieforKY
Why does @Bayer want @EPA-approved labels to be the benchmark for liability? “Because it’s much easier for industry to capture a single federal agency than to capture 50 statehouses” — Claudia Polsky, Director of the Environmental Law Clinic at UC Berkeley https://t.co/EL4A4fKauD
I sat down with my husband Hector to break down what’s happening right now with glyphosate, the Monsanto (Bayer) Supreme Court case, and what it means for our food system + health. This goes beyond politics - it’s about awareness, asking questions, and taking action.
Announcing the largest food movement rally America has ever seen - to hold our government accountable for the corporate capture that is poisoning our children. Companies that are spraying our food with poison do not get immunity. See you on the steps of the Supreme Court on 4/27 and bring everyone you know. Please spread the word. #FoodBabeArmy
