@wesbury How private credit got $2T is crazy:
"We invest in companies banks see as too risky, and we give them lower interest rates" .
Who the hell ever thought that was a great idea?
@NickRogersBTL That is a state highway, that no one uses since they opened I-70 decades ago. It looks like a short cut to Colorado Springs on a map but it is not. And your mapping software knows this, too.
@matthewstoller I don't think old people doing deals keeps young people from doing deals. Today's old, rich, people can afford the med tech to allow them to live a very long time and retain function.
@ajlamesa Allergies. When the temperature outdoors is 20F cooler than indoors, electricity use is minimal, much less "work" required from the compressor.
@RoaringHammy Being a white male, I realized 20 years ago that my own business was the only path. So, you can't "lose" your job. I don't think anyone is hiring 50 y/o plus males today. Well, the Sam's club guy at the door seems pretty happy at 70 to have that job. So there is that.
@TeslaKing420 At least the Luce is smiling. Though it still bears too much resemblance to Johnnie's apple mouse for my taste. Not my thoughts matter, I couldn't afford to invest that much in a car.
@FiSurgi Now you can buy a new full size GM SUV or truck that gets an engine recall and fails, sitting in a shop for 3 months waiting for a new engine.
