LA Can’t Afford to Wait - The Private Sector Must Lead the Rebuild
Los Angeles is my home. I raised my family here and I’ve spent my life building here, creating spaces where people come together. And now, in the wake of the Palisades and Eaton Fires, I’m watching entire communities fight to survive. This is the single biggest disaster LA has ever faced—entire neighborhoods erased, over 40,000 acres reduced to ash, and more than 11,000 homes lost. The economic toll is staggering—more than $250 billion—and it won’t stop at LA’s borders. LA is one of the largest economies in the world, and when this city takes a hit, the entire country feels it. 5. Elon’s popularity* is a signal of latent desire for ambitious projects in the physical world.
People don’t see how they can contribute so they root for him. The logical conclusion is that we need more outlets for that enthusiasm.

This is Glen Mills.
The man behind Usaine Bolt's world records.
He taught Bolt a technique that made him the fastest man of all time...
Here's the technique:
Washington was an unreasonable man.
His audacity, motivation, and ambition in leading a small militia against the greatest empire in world history are still astounding. If he lost the Revolutionary War, Washington would have been tortured, hung, drawn and quartered, and beheaded. Yet somehow he persisted against all odds to victory, laying the groundwork for one of the greatest countries in the history of the world, inspiring many with its freedoms and opportunities.
“All progress depends on the unreasonable person.”
As we reflect on Independence Day today, what is something that motivates you against all odds? How are you unreasonable?
@SenSanders Not solely renewables… all energy. Wind and solar are only 25% efficient, as climate is variable. Nuclear is 90% efficient like fossil fuels. Hydrogen shows promise. As we electrify and advance as a society we need more power plants and more power production. It’s not magic.
