@dave43law I don't get talk of him operating in a hostile atmosphere.
Farage IS the hostile atmosphere.
He is utterly responsible for the stinkbomb in British politics.
Back in the 90s, he'd make a fuss about everything & play victim.
As an MEP he showed contempt for the role and others.
MAGA says Ilhan Omar isn't using her real name.
Melania Trump was born Melanija Knavs.
Ted Cruz was born Rafael Edward Cruz.
JD Vance was born James Donald Bowman.
Nikki Haley was born Nimarata Nikki Randhawa.
Mike Johnson's real first name is James.
Rand Paul is Randal Paul.
Newt Gingrich was born Newton Leroy McPherson.
But suddenly MAGA wants a congressional investigation into names?
@hewitson10 It's a bit much calling someone a traitor for collecting abandoned dinghies from the world's busiest shipping lanes.
Defamatory and actionable actually.
As for the taxpayer paying him to insult the Flag Nonces, I'm pretty sure he just does it for free. Every job has its perks.
Only 5,000 kids were surveyed, only 92 were Jewish, only 70 of 92 responded, and 29 said they had faced antisemitism at school. Only 2% said antisemitism was a big problem at their school and we're reclassifying it as a more serious form of racism based on that? Is this a joke?
@MarinaPurkiss@Shearings That's disgusting, and a disgrace, Marina.
The minimum your in-laws should, (in my opinion), receive, is a full refund, a proper written apology, and offered another holiday in a clean, properly decorated, tidy and safe location of your in-laws choice.
Perhaps the most stark and revealing (accidental?) admission in the David Bell 'antisemitism in UK schools report. Antisemitic attitudes aren't increasing, only anti-Israel ones are. That's what most of this is about.

The government has until December to decide whether to pull the NHS out of its £330m contract with Palantir - a US spy-tech firm that has facilitated genocide in Gaza.
Andy Burnham needs to pick a side. We have picked ours.
@Limore24@sadbutsegsy@ShoreditchMR@AndrewRoy70@suziegeewizz What? There should be no discrimination, but there should also not be one type (antisemitism) treated as if it is more important to be dealt with, despite being less prevalent.
Since the 80s we've had at least 12 government-backed reviews into racism, specifically anti-Blackness, and they all consistently show it is systemic and deeply embedded in our institutions.
Yet, successive governments repeatedly fail to fully implement the recommended reforms.
@suziegeewizz Britain finally put it in writing Jews matter and everyone else is an afterthought. I guess Britain was promised to them 3000 years ago too.
