@Sarumans_hand@clewis_74 @theFarageFiles @elonmusk And any reasonable internet or AI search? But, rather than believe people actually living there, listen to someone made up rubbish by someone trying to present patent untruths, without even questioning their validity. Am assuming youve never been to uk, otherwise you’d know.
@clewis_74 @Sarumans_hand @theFarageFiles @elonmusk Living in the country itself, where this is not happening, im telling you this as a fact so, when i have no propaganda to peddle, isn’t that enough for you? So, I am a source saying its garbage- i live here. Please believe you are being fed rubbish by people aiming to spin a tale
@ml8820 @theFarageFiles @elonmusk Yes, I know what automatic weapons are.. unfortunately so do the families of so many victims of mass shootings in the US, that simply don't occur in the UK, due to tighter control, that the population, by and large believe to be eminently sensible..
@ml8820 @theFarageFiles @elonmusk Indeed, and each individual person is more likely to be killed in a knife crime in the US than the UK- as well as many, many more times more likely to be a victim of gun crime
@clewis_74 @Sarumans_hand @theFarageFiles @elonmusk And then perhaps you might not look like one, when you check the facts rather than buy into such garbage without any critical evaluation. Although tbh would expect little else from people believing such rubbish..
@clewis_74 @Sarumans_hand @theFarageFiles @elonmusk Or alternatively you can listen to a Brit, in UK, who knows for a fact this is untrue, and the article is garbage. Similarly, check what constitutes a knife offence in UK (large %age are for merely having, not using, a knife). Then US v Uk stats, and see US levels are higher...
@ml8820 @theFarageFiles @elonmusk Oh dear.. US education (or lack of) at work again.. per capita means as an average person- often represented as a
Larger data set, such as per 100,000
for example.
@ml8820 @theFarageFiles @elonmusk Plenty of us have guns in the uk, just the use, transport, storage and ownership is controlled, and amazingly we then don't get thousands of gun murders each year (never mind other accidental hundredths or suicides)
@ml8820 @theFarageFiles @elonmusk And 242 people killed, although too many, is 40% of all homicides in UK. 570 in total
US (6x as populous) 19,677 homicides in 2023 - so 34x more likely to be killed in the US. But actually just as likely to be killed by a knife.. guess where the biggest difference is???
@retiredfx @Sarumans_hand @theFarageFiles @elonmusk More stabbings per capita in US than UK, so tell us about the gangs running wild in the US.. and that's before they start shooting each other, and their schoolchildren
@freespeechman19 @theFarageFiles @elonmusk Ask grok and you'll see you have more deaths per capita by that means also- not just your obsession with guns and the homicide rate that is hundreds of times higher than UK. Amending your narrative yet?
@ml8820 @theFarageFiles @elonmusk Why don't you ask grok knife deaths stats UK vs US... and you will see not only does the US have a gun culture and almost 500x as many Gun homicides as the uk, you also have a higher incidence of death by stabbing per capita..
