If staff don’t care, and it makes no difference to passenger safety, there’s no reason for this employee to ruin a family’s holiday.

@LordoftheSplash @dsids09 @easyJet If staff don’t care, why do they get so stroppy trying to enforce a rule they don’t care about? A bag taken as carry-on weighs exactly identical to the same bag checked-in and stored in the hold - so it makes no difference to the weight of the aircraft…

@dsids09 @easyJet The EasyJet staff member’s attitude is repulsive. If he struggles working with customers in a service industry job at an airline, he should quit and get a job in a factory where he doesn’t have to work directly with customers.

But after 30 years in Sydney, whenever my sister now visits UK, people ask her if she’s from Essex as her accent now sounds very similar to an Essex accent in UK…

It’s slowly been replaced by an accent that combines its London roots with strong South Asian & Caribbean intonations and American hip-hop.
