Moycullen captain David Wynne in his speech following their Galway SFC win last night.

Don led the Gaeltacht-based club to their first ever county title in 2020 and another in 2022, alongside a Connacht Championship🏆

The GAA is not in competition with any other sports for the limelight

It’s all a ruse by journalists

It’s an insular indigenous sport(s), disregarded as uninteresting to strongly disliked by most on this island who are from other sporting backgrounds and likes.

The overall TV numbers are fairly steady. The attendance similarly the same although overall profits way up over the years.

There is no competition.

You are not competing with soccer and rugby. They don’t give a shite about you.

It’s a bottom up organisation. Do good work at club level, that’s literally all that matters.

Block out the noise.
