things grilling gives you:
- food that just tastes better
- an excuse to be outside
- cheaper, healthier meals
- a craft that compounds
- a tradition to pass down
- a path to go pro if you want
- 20 quiet minutes by the fire when life gets loud
hard to think of a better hobby.
“Here I Go Again” lyrics never rang so true in my life before now.
You know when a song goes from just knowing it to really resonating? Super cool feeling. I ain’t wasting no more time.
AI can't replace true human creativity, but it can help with some discreet writing tasks:
-Summarization (meeting notes)
-Grammar and spell check (Grammarly)
-SEO recommendations (for my website)
-UX writing (bridges product/design)

Great reminder to be thoughtful to the added noise that we introduce when building new features for users. Which Google search page are you more willing to interface with? For me it's the simpler one...

Enterprise sales can be incompatible with early-stage ventures if you don’t have the appropriate runway - the sales cycle can be ~9-24 mo, dependent on the buyer's maturity and buying process. Align key stakeholders before hitting go.

Brushing up on more of my UX lingo: Indicators, Validations & Notifications. I think most people somewhat know what notifications are: great to see more than just global examples. Also, when to think about an indicator or validation instead.

My weekend reflections
This past weekend, there was one day that I did a 45-minute Peloton ride and 20 minute guided meditation + nap. The other day I didn't do these things. Venture to guess which was better? 😅

UX roadmapping is just as critical as product. The project buckets of "Vision" > "launch projects" > "development support" should exist at any stage company. Even as a founder, mapping a basic UX vision & flow is critical.

Just a friendly reminder:
"Customers don’t know what is possible, so customer requirements are not product requirements."
That doesn't mean you can't be customer-centric... see more linked below
