@jppeters57@indykaila Sure did, what was I thinking. Here’s me thinking crooks and con men might lie every once and a while. I thought infantino said “yes I’m corrupt and habe no problem breaking the rules to please the President old wrinkled ball sack… I mean Trump”
@karldeeter How about the fact in spite of this he was rectifying this the legal way, the US government had granted him a work visa after this, is married to an American and going through the legal process to get a green card?
@paulnovosad This would be a massive own goal by the Irish government. We would lose billions in taxes, investment and high paying jobs. Military flights at Shannon would be more much more damaging for us without a self inflicting recession here.
@karldeeter No it does not seem he signed his deportation order. He’s stated that he didn’t sign it and requested to appeal his deportation. He has asked for both video recording of his interrogation to prove this and hand writing experts to verify that it is forged.
@RobHavard1@FMC_Rugby That was the wingers fault. He raced in leaving a man outside, prendergast drifts in expectation of the winger making the tackle.
@walkbar@robprogressive That’s literally an industry that should have been regulated more and taxed more in the years leading up to the crash.
Exactly what the OP was complaining about.
@walkbar@robprogressive I don’t think that’s as good an argument as you think…..
Who lent recklessly and almost crashed the global economy… wasn’t the government… I think you were missing the word “private” before banks.
@WWFC_Bren It’s awful, the mad thing is, 2 wins and we are back in the mix.
Problem is we are never likely to see those two wins.
Although we do play Utd twice in the next month.
@robprogressive The UAE has the 6th biggest oil reserves in the world. The U.K. doesn’t.
Interestingly the Oil is owned by the government…. How very socialist of them.
@BellaWallerstei Who exactly pays inheritance tax?
If I bought a house in the 80s and die now and it’s worth 3/4 times as much how have I paid tax on the extra value earned?
@ejames500 The one person would spend £250 and saves £250.
The 5 people spend all of their £100.
Which is better for economic growth?
It’s called the circular flow of income.
@AdamSzaloczi@AlanJLSmith I totally agree. Capitalisim is great in ways but it’s run out of control where the benefits are being hoovered up by the minority and many who are hard working struggle to get by. A huge % of those in need of benefits to survive have jobs but don’t get paid enough to survive
@lord_brouhaha@daheditor@DanielPriestley Yes but larger corporations, in theory, can take advantage of economies of scale. This lowers the costs which means they can have lower prices and maintain profit margins.
Not saying cost reductions will be passed on but OP was talking theory too.
